The design of Intelligent Upper Extremity RehabilitationFeedback Training System A300 is based on neuro-plasticityprinciple and it comprised of advanced technology. This system canaccelerate the remediation process and fast progressing therapy. Interms of improving daily functioning, self-initiated upperextremity repetitive training program includes coordination, musclestrength, range of motion and grasp training allows incrementalimprovements on the way to the long-term goal. By providing armweight support, the A300 enables patients such as stroke, traumaticbrain injury, spinal cord injury to use any remaining motorfunctions and encourages them to achieve a higher number of reachand grasp movements based on specific therapy goals.

1.The A300 allows simultaneous arm and hand training in anextensive workspace with five degrees of freedom includes shoulder,elbow, wrist and fingers joint (grasping). In 

addition, the active training with multi-joint or single-jointis recommended for patients with manual muscle strength testingGrade 3 or above.

2.This system provides a unique passive training mode to addressthe critical functional motion of elbow to prevent muscular atrophyand reduction in the motion of the joint.

3.Functional electrical stimulation (FES) improves musclestrength and motor function. (Deluxe version only)

4.The built-in sensors of the system can detect the kinematicdata of patient during training activities. The results can be usedto analyze and document the patient’s state and
