Typical Applications:alpine ski boots, sports shoe soles, pneumatic lines, rolls, technical films

PA 12 elastomers, the mostimportant subgroup of polyamide elastomers, belong to theincreasingly important material class of thermoplastic elastomers(TPE). Because of their excellent properties, they areindispensable in many applications.

PA 12 elastomers are blockcopolymers consisting of PA 12 segments and polyether segments. PA12-rich products have the major properties of PA 12, while theelastomer characteristics become more apparent with increasingpolyether content. That is the polymers become more flexible, withhigher impact strength at cold temperatures.
