一、摘要 PLC是一種專門在工業(yè)環(huán)境下應(yīng)用而設(shè)計的數(shù)字運算操作的電子裝置。

它采用可以編制程序的存儲器，用來在其內(nèi)部存儲執(zhí)行邏輯運算、順序運算、計時、計數(shù)和算術(shù)運算等操作的指令，并能通過數(shù)字式或模擬式的輸入和輸出，控制各種類型的機械或生產(chǎn)過程。PLC及其有關(guān)的外圍設(shè)備都應(yīng)按照易于與工業(yè)控制系統(tǒng)形成一個整體，易于擴展其功能的原則而設(shè)計。在工業(yè)生產(chǎn)的各個領(lǐng)域，機械加工企業(yè)為了提高生產(chǎn)效率，采用機械化流水作業(yè)的方式，對不同類型的零件分別組成的自動生產(chǎn)線。隨著產(chǎn)品機型的更新?lián)Q代，生產(chǎn)線承擔(dān)的加工對象也隨之改變，這就需要改變控制程序，使生產(chǎn)線的機械設(shè)備按新的工藝過程運行，而繼電接觸器控制器系統(tǒng)是采用固定接線，很難適應(yīng)這個要求。大型自動生產(chǎn)線的控制系統(tǒng)使用的繼電器數(shù)量很多，隨著PLC的應(yīng)用日益普及,其使用方法簡單,便于掌握,且可靠性,抗干擾性很強,自身具有完善的功能.模塊化的結(jié)構(gòu),使其在工業(yè)生產(chǎn)線上的應(yīng)用越來越廣泛。

　　發(fā)展趨勢：1.向高速度、大容量方向發(fā)展

　　為了提高PLC的處理能力，要求PLC具有的響應(yīng)速度和更大的存儲容量。目前，有的PLC的掃描速度可達0.1ms/k步左右。PLC的掃描速度已成為很重要的一個性能指標(biāo)。

　　在存儲容量方面，有的PLC可達幾十兆字節(jié)。為了擴大存儲容量，有的公司已使用了磁泡存儲器或硬盤。

　　2.向超大型、超小型兩個方向發(fā)展

　　當(dāng)前中小型PLC比較多，為了適應(yīng)市場的多種需要，今后PLC要向多品種方向發(fā)展，特別是向超大型和超小型兩個方向發(fā)展?，F(xiàn)已有I/O點數(shù)達14336點的超大型PLC，其使用32位微處理器，多CPU并行工作和大容量存儲器，功能強。
