Principle of hot-dip galvanizing: Hot dip galvanizing is amethod of preventing corrosion on the surface of steel. Immerse thesteel in molten zinc to form a layer of zinc iron alloy and purezinc on the surface of the steel. This zinc layer can providephysical isolation and electrochemical protection. When the surfaceof steel is exposed to air or comes into contact with corrosivemedia, the zinc layer will preferentially corrode, therebyprotecting the steel substrate.
