鋁礬土又稱礬土或鋁土礦高鋁礬土骨料 鋁礬土熟料 鋁礬土細粉，主要成分是氧化鋁，系含有雜質(zhì)的水合氧化鋁，是一種土狀礦物。白色或灰白色，因含鐵而呈褐黃或淺紅色。密度3.9～4g/cm3，硬度1～3，不透明，質(zhì)脆。極難熔化。不溶于水，能溶于硫酸、氫氧化鈉溶液。主要用于煉鋁，制耐火材料。
高鋁礬土骨料 鋁礬土熟料 鋁礬土細粉學(xué)名鋁土礦、鋁礬土。其組成成分異常復(fù)雜，是多種地質(zhì)來源極不相同的含水氧化鋁礦石的總稱。如一水軟鋁石、一水硬鋁石和三水鋁石(al2o3·3h2o)；有的是水鋁石和高嶺石(2sio2·al2o3·2h2o)相伴構(gòu)成；有的以高嶺石為主，且隨著高嶺石含量的增高，構(gòu)成為一般的鋁土巖或高嶺石質(zhì)粘土。鋁土礦一般是化學(xué)風化或外生作用形成的，很少有純礦物，總是含有一些雜質(zhì)礦物，或多或少含有粘土礦物、鐵礦物、鈦礦物及碎屑重礦物等等。
用途
(1)煉鋁工業(yè)。用于國防、航空、汽車、電器、化工、日常生活用品等。
(2)精密鑄造。礬土熟料加工成細粉做成鑄模后精鑄。用于、航天、通訊、儀表、機械及醫(yī)療器械部門。
(3)用于耐火制品。高鋁礬土熟料耐火度高達1780℃，化學(xué)穩(wěn)定性強、物理性能良好。
(4)硅酸鋁耐火纖維。具有重量輕，耐高溫，熱穩(wěn)定性好，導(dǎo)熱率低，熱容小和耐機械震動等優(yōu)點。用于鋼鐵、有色冶金、電子石油、化工宇航原子能
、國防等多種工業(yè)。
(5)以鎂砂和礬土熟料為原料，加入適當結(jié)合劑，用于澆注盛鋼桶整體桶襯效果甚佳。
(6)制造礬土水泥，研磨材料，陶瓷工業(yè)以及可制鋁的各種化合物。

the main component of bauxite isalumina, is impurities of hydrated alumina, a kind of earthyminerals. the color is white or off-white, usually it is yellow orlight red due to iron. its density is 3.9 ~ 4g/cm3, hardness 1 ~ 3,opaque, brittle and extremely difficult to melt. it does notdissolve in water, but can dissolve in sulfuric acid, sodiumhydroxide solution, mainly used in aluminum smelting and refractorymaterials making.
uses:

(2) bauxite clinker can be processed into fine powder and made intomold. used in military, aerospace, communications, instrumentation,machinery and medical e sectors.
(3) usedfor fire-resistant products. the refractoriness of high-aluminaclinker is up to 1780℃, it has strong chemical stability and goodphysical properties.
(4) aluminosilicate refractory fibers. with a light weight, hightemperature, thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, heatcapacity of small and resistance to mechanical vibration and so on.used for iron and steel, nonferrous metallurgy, electronicspetroleum, chemical space, atomic energy, defense and otherindustries.
(5) usingmagnesia clinker and bauxite as raw material, by adding theappropriate amount binder, you can get a better effect of barrellining.
