“O-rings”(O-rings) is a circular section of the rubber ring, because its section of O-type, it is called O-type rubber ring, also known as o-ring. It first appeared in the mid-19th century asa sealing element for steam engine cylinders.
The o-ring is the most common mechanical design for seals becauseof its low cost, simple fabrication, reliable function, and simpleinstallation re The o-ring withstands tens ofmegabascals (thousands of pounds) of pressure. The o-ring can beused in static applications as well as in dynamic applicationswhere there is relative motion between components, such as theshaft of a rotary pump and the piston of a hydrauliccylinder.
