◎滾筒干燥機(jī)是一種內(nèi)加熱傳導(dǎo)型轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)連續(xù)干燥設(shè)備。旋轉(zhuǎn)的滾筒通過(guò)其下部料槽,粘附著一定厚度的料膜,熱量通過(guò)管道輸送至滾筒內(nèi)壁,傳導(dǎo)到滾筒外壁,再傳導(dǎo)給料膜，使料膜中的濕份得到蒸發(fā)、脫濕、使含濕分的物料得到干燥。干燥好的物料被裝置在滾筒表面 的刮刀鏟離滾筒,到置于刮刀下方的螺旋輸送器,通過(guò)螺旋輸送器再將干物料集中、包裝。

◎ 熱效率高。因滾筒干燥機(jī)傳熱機(jī)理屬熱傳導(dǎo),傳熱方向在整個(gè)操作周期中保持一致,除蓋散熱和熱輻射損失外,其余熱量全都用于筒壁濕料膜的蒸發(fā)上,熱效率可達(dá)70%-80%. 
◎ 操作彈性大,適用性廣?？烧{(diào)整滾筒干燥機(jī)的諸多干燥因素。如進(jìn)料的濃度、涂料料膜的厚度、加熱介質(zhì)的溫度、滾筒的轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)速度等,都可以改 變滾筒干燥機(jī)的干燥效率,且諸多因素互無(wú)牽連。這給滾筒干燥操作帶來(lái)很大方便,使之能適應(yīng)多種物料的干燥和不同產(chǎn)量的要求。 
◎ 干燥時(shí)間短。物料的干燥周期一般只有10-300秒,適合于熱敏性物料。若將滾筒干燥機(jī)設(shè)置在真空器中,則可在減壓條件下運(yùn)行。 
◎干燥速率大。由于涂抹于筒壁的料膜很薄,一般在0.3-1.5mm,且傳熱、傳質(zhì)方向一致,料膜表面可保持20-70kg.h2 o/m2·h的蒸發(fā)強(qiáng)度。

◎ short drying period.the dryingperiod of materials is normally 10 to 300 seconds,so it is suitablefor heat-sensitive materials.it also can be reducing pressureoperated if it is put in vacuum vessel. 
◎ fast drying rate.as film ofmaterials coated on the wall of the roller is very thin.normal,thickness is 0.3 to 1.5 mm,plus directions of heat andmatter transmitting are 2 . identical, the vaporing strength on thesurface of the film can be 20-70 kg.h 2o/m h.
