This European Standard is applicable to performance re tests for two classes of helmets for alpine skiers,snowboarders and for similar groups, including children andparticipants in competitions. The standard comprises two differentclasses of protection, class A and class B. Re and thecorresponding methods of test, where appropriate, are given for thefollowing: - construction including field of vision; - shockabsorbing properties; - resistance to penetration; - retentionsystem properties; - marking and information.
